Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - first time posting

A retailer and two warehouses near St. Louis are hiring seasonal staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
