Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - first time posting

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Austin that might lead to something longer. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
