Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent (Chicago)

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Chicago that might lead to something longer. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
