Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Chicago that might lead to something longer. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
