Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent, bank teller here

A retailer and two warehouses near Boston are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as a bank teller before this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
