Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Richmond that might lead to something longer. It has been weighing on me all week. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
