Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around St. Louis that might lead to something longer. I worked as a pharmacy technician before this. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
