Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Dallas that might lead to something longer. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
