Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around St. Louis that might lead to something longer. I am in St. Louis, in case local advice matters. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
