Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent after 18 years as a web developer

Kenji Nystrom · 2026-09-19T19:39:12.579Z

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 18 weeks. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
