Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent after 16 years as a pharmacy technician

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 16 weeks. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?
