Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent after 15 years as an accountant

A retailer and two warehouses near Portland are hiring seasonal staff. It has been weighing on me all week. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
