Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent after 15 years as a data-entry clerk

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Cleveland that might lead to something longer. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
