Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent after 11 years as a security officer

A retailer and two warehouses near Austin are hiring seasonal staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
