Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - 9 months and counting

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Madison that might lead to something longer. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
