Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - 8 months and counting

A retailer and two warehouses near Pittsburgh are hiring seasonal staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
