Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Oklahoma City that might lead to something longer. I worked as a quality inspector before this. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
