Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Hartford that might lead to something longer. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
