Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Richmond that might lead to something longer. I am in Richmond, in case local advice matters. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
