Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - 3 months and counting

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Detroit that might lead to something longer. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
