Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - 20 weeks in

A retailer and two warehouses near St. Louis are hiring seasonal staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
