Seasonal jobs that might turn permanent - 16 weeks in

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Sacramento that might lead to something longer. I worked as a forklift operator before this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
