Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 16 weeks. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
