Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near Richmond are hiring seasonal staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
