Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 18 weeks. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
