Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near Kansas City are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as a social media manager before this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
