Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 4 weeks. It has been a long 26 weeks. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
