Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Richmond that might lead to something longer. It has been a long 4 weeks. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
