Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Jacksonville that might lead to something longer. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
