Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Cincinnati that might lead to something longer. Thank you in advance. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
