Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Raleigh that might lead to something longer. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
