Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - what worked for you?

A retailer and two warehouses near San Diego are hiring seasonal staff. It has been weighing on me all week. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
