Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? (update)

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 12 weeks. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
