Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? (update)

Sam Nystrom · 2026-06-18T08:47:19.902Z

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 16 weeks. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
