Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? (update)

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 5 weeks. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
