Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? (Minneapolis)

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Minneapolis that might lead to something longer. Any experience at all would help. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
