Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

A retailer and two warehouses near Buffalo are hiring seasonal staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
