Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

A retailer and two warehouses near Portland are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as a bank teller before this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
