Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

A retailer and two warehouses near Seattle are hiring seasonal staff. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
