Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? (Austin)

A retailer and two warehouses near Austin are hiring seasonal staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
