Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - any advice?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Sacramento that might lead to something longer. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
