Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 9 years as a marketing coordinator

A retailer and two warehouses near Columbus are hiring seasonal staff. Any experience at all would help. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
