Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 8 years as a barista

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 8 weeks. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Keep a list of supervisors' names. A reference from one of them helped me land my next job.
