Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 7 years as a dental hygienist

A retailer and two warehouses near Portland are hiring seasonal staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
