Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 5 years as a graphic designer

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Tucson that might lead to something longer. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
