Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 5 years as a bookkeeper

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Portland that might lead to something longer. Any experience at all would help. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
