Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 18 years as a pharmacy technician

A retailer and two warehouses near Louisville are hiring seasonal staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
