Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 17 years as an IT help-desk technician

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 17 weeks. It has been weighing on me all week. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
