Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 16 years as a home health aide

A retailer and two warehouses near Tampa are hiring seasonal staff. It has been a long 3 weeks. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Is it worth applying to several at once?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
