Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? after 15 years as a paralegal

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 15 weeks. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Is it worth applying to several at once?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
